Barbara, winner of numerous national and regional awards, is again back in our Gallery. The demand for her work is greater than ever. Barbara Conley is a avid collector of antiques and this interest shows in her work. Her interests in nostalgia and preservation are most apparent in her paintings. She travels to the back-country of the Midwest and the East as well as California to search out subject matter that is rapidly vanishing from our heritage. Whether it be an old mill in Massachusetts or a ranch in the California countryside, she captures it in a way that depicts its uniqueness and nostalgic importance.
