Kenneth Ray Wilson has five years experience as an illustrator in graphic arts publication before full-time devotion to painting in 1965.
Kenneth Ray Wilson: “I have always been attracted to the beauty of the landscape. The variety of colors, structure, and textures in nature provide endless inspiration for subjects in my paintings. The Impressionism period of art has most influenced my work, most particularly the paintings of Monet. Art is always evolving, and my art is constantly changing. The venture into abstract art has been my most difficult journey.
Since I am a self-taught painter, the style and images I produce are uniquely my own. I am constantly experimenting to produce effects that give new works a fresh appearance.”
