Carrie Quade’s lifelong love of art and animals became the focus of her career over 30 years ago. Having always lived in the country, riding and working with horses, spending summers at the farm and working for area zoological parks, has helped Carrie develop the ability to know and understand both domestic and exotic animals. While creating her work, she feels it is necessary to capture the essence and the soul of her subject, enabling her to produce work that evokes an emotional reaction from the viewer.
