Oscar Campos is originally from Argentina, born in Cutral Co in Patagonia. He began to exabit his works in Buenos Aires Argentina, in important galleries, where in his first individual exhibition Prince Philip of Edinburgh acquired one of his paintings to take to Buckingham Palace, now 20 years ago he exhibited his paintings in the United State in Jackson, Wyoming. His realistic wildlife paintings, sculptures, and gentle manner leave an impression on the people he meets. Campos’ work has been exhibited around the world and admired by kings. He is a prominent artist in Argentina and has enjoyed breaking into the US scene. A disciple of renowned Argentine artist Axel Amuchastegui, Campos’ captivating artwork has traveled around the world in temporary and permanent displays. Art critic and poet Rafael Squirru: “Contemplating Campos’ work, whatever the techniques used, implies entering a world that boarders on magic thanks to its realism. These paintings seem to arise from the sudden evocation of someone who has strong words capable of making animals appear, as genie from “Arabian Nights” can appear. Campos has a vocation as serious as it is inspired, reminding us that art is not a bauble, a “spectacle” or simply fun.”
